These plans are your traditional health insurance plans with no cap on benefits.  Once you are approved, you will have a traditional PPO plan at a lower cost, with no limitations on benefits, and all medical conditions covered.

Similar to other major medical plans, to qualify for these plans you must not currently be under medical care.

Metal plans, also called limited medical plans, are more affordable, guaranteed issue* health plans. In order to keep these plan costs down, these plans come with some limitation on benefits, such as a set number of in patient hospitalization and other possible limitations provided by the plan provider.  These metal plans are PPO plans and have access to a national network of doctors and hospitals.

Guaranteed Issue: A requirement that health plans must permit you to enroll regardless of health status, age, gender, or other factors that might predict the use of health services. Except in some states, guaranteed issue doesn’t limit how much you can be charged if you enroll.
